The first edition of ASICS National High School Wrestling Rankings for the 2016-2017 have been released on FloWrestling, and Ethan Smith '17 has made his debut in the rankings (FINALLY) at #11 at 170.

Ethan is looking to build upon his successful season last year, which ended with a perfect 30-0 record, a UCBAC, Regional & State Championship @ 170 lbs, 155 season takedowns, and a 3rd place finish at the prestigious FloNationals tournament at IUP in Indiana, PA. (NOTE: Ethan defeated the #5 ranked wrestler at 160, Layne Van Anrooy from Roseburg, Oregon, twice at FloNationals)
Ethan's currently prepping to contend for a title at the extremely tough Super 32 tournament and the 2017 season, where he'll go for HS Career win #100 (He's currently at 94 wins) and his second consecutive state title. Ethan is getting serious looks numerous D-I schools, including the University of Maryland - College Park, the University of North Carolina - Chapel Hill, the U.S. Naval Academy, and Cleveland State University.
